Bernedoodles are the perfect family dog. They are affectionate, always up for an adventure and they love to just be by your side.
They get their eager to please personality and smarts from the poodle and the happy go lucky, charming traits from the Bernese. Because of the poodle the bernedoodles are low to non shedding.
F1 bernedoodles: 50 % poodle and 50 % Bernese
F1B: 75 % poodle and 50 % Bernese
Bernedoodles come in all kinds of colours. I always tell people that temperament is far more important than colours.
We breed F1 and F1B puppies. They come in all sizes, we have bred medium size bernedoodles and standard size bernedoodles. They range from 35-55lbs. The standard size poodles are 55-80lbs.
We do our very best to set up our puppies and new puppy parents for success. Our puppies are handled with love and care from day 1 until they are ready to go to their new home at 8 weeks. We do ENS ( early neurological stimulation, also known as the superdog program) from day 3 to 16 days old. We also give them puppy massages starting at 4 weeks every day until they go to their new home. We rub them all over their body, touch their feet, and nails. We also gently tug on their ears and tail. We put our finger in their mouth and cover their eyes for 3 seconds. The puppies get their nails clipped regularly as well. They will be familiar with the clippers as we gently get them used to the sound and the feel on their body. Not to mention my kids play and carry them around A LOT under close supervision of course. They are also introduced to all kinds of people, sounds and other dogs at an early age. At around 3 weeks old they start sleeping in kennels with the door open so the kennel will be a familiar and safe place for them.
