Family PhotoHi there!

My name is Vilja, and I am a stay at home mom to 4 wonderful kids that I’m blessed to homeschool. My life is busy but very fulfilling, I love what I do! We live on a 80 acre fenced property so our dogs and puppies have lots of room to play outside. Our dogs are more than just pets, they are family. Some of our dogs live in “guardian homes”. I want my dogs to be apart of a family and not just live in a kennel, so that is the reason we decided to find some wonderful guardian homes for 4 of our dogs that are still in our breeding program. They are very loved and bring so much joy to their families. The moms come to me a few days before they are due to have their puppies and stay here until the puppies are around 6 weeks and they are done nursing.

My love for dogs runs deep. I grew up in Norway and I have been around dogs since I was born. Dogs have always been a part of my life and I can’t imagine life without them. Growing up my child had a few litters of puppies and I still remember the joy of raising and loving on them. We fell in love the Bernese mountain dog breed when we were on a business trip in Ontario in 2017, we got a beautiful Bernese shortly after. We decided to breed her with a handsome moyeen poodle and after the first litter I knew that this would not be the last one. I put a lot of work into the puppies and did a lot of research to make sure I would give the puppies the best start possible. Thanks to wonderful genetics, programs like “puppy culture” and “badass breeder” and implementing the methods they teach.
By the end of 8 weeks the puppies didn’t mind thunder, vacuums, hair dryer ect. We taught them to sit nice when they wanted to be pet, and even use a litter box.

We have added a few more dogs to the family since Stella joined our family, we now breed cavapoo’s as well (I adore this mix). They have a lot in common with the Bernese but they are a lot smaller. Our dogs are genetic health tested and have wonderful temperaments.
